Day 3
Pray for passion
For most of us after marriage there is a small fade that hits our passions. We are not investing into our talents like we used to. We slowly leave out a lot of things that we were passionate about. We say that we wanna do it but we don’t have time for it. Is time the real problem? I was telling myself that time was the real problem but later I realized that my priorities changed and since it’s not a priority I’m not making time. After marriage our priorities will certainly change but pushing our passions out of the priorities is not the right thing to do. We need God’s help in doing this!
Let’s pray!
For you
- Lord, it is you who gave me the talents and I’m a stewardess who is responsible for using it for your glory. Give me the wisdom to use my talents and not to bury it!
- Lord, I have so much fear in investing time into my God given passion. I’m afraid of failures, I’m afraid of loss of focus on other priorities. I rebuke all these fears in the name of Jesus!
- Lord, give me the wisdom to plan well so that I can balance all my life priorities well. Lord, I commit all the plans that I have now into your hands and I know that your blessings are upon it.
- Lord, help me enable others who are struggling to follow their God given passion. Give me the heart of encouragement!
- Lord, help me to be a good wife who understands the passions of her husband and gives timely support to her husband. Help me to stand by my husband to follow God given passion even if the whole world is discouraging him.
For your husband
- Lord, enable my husband to follow his God given passions without giving up. Give him the perseverance needed to achieve for God’s glory.
- Lord, give my husband the strength and energy needed to focus on his God given passions. May your grace be sufficient for him in times of weariness.
- Lord, enable my husband to encourage me and support me completely in following my God given passions.
- Lord, remove all the obstacles that are blocking my husband’s progress.
- Lord, let all the evil plans of jealous people who are plotting against us be demolished in the name of Jesus. We forgive the jealous people in Christ! We bless them!
Amen!
Today’s Promise:
Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers. Exodus 35: 30-35
(God has gifted us with talents and skills just like Bezalel and Oholiab to make us excel and glorify God!)
