30 days of Praying for you and your husband! Day 2

Day 2

Pray against worries

Being women the tendency to worry is so high. Why is that women worry more than men? God has given a special gift to women to evaluate situations carefully and be cautious to make wise decisions in life and not to be careless. But the evil one wants us to invest our gift into worrying so that the gift can be used against us. I understood that very late. But I don’t want anyone of us to be ignorant of how worrying works.

Not to worry is not to deny the existence of our problems and be careless, but to acknowledge that God will take care of it and to make God of all wisdom to guide us in what we need to do and what we should not be doing.

Let’s pray!

For you

  • Lord, I Pray that all the worrisome thoughts be captivated in Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and be replaced with thoughts of gratitude and thoughts of wisdom and next decisions to move forward.
  • Lord, help me to discern the triggers that initiate worry and avoid them wisely. Lord, teach me to cast all my cares on you and never to think about it again. (Psalm 55:22)
  • Lord, stop me from making wrong choices and bad decisions when I’m driven by worries but lead me to trust in you especially when I don’t understand your plans. (Psalm 56:3)
  • Lord, send me your word so that I can be healed from the wounds caused by worries.

Body: Heal all the sickness in my body that came due to worrying.

Soul: Heal all the emotional wounds caused by worries that are deep and hidden from my eyes, but are getting aggravated each day.

Spirit: Heal all the spiritual backlogs and backslides caused by worries so that I can live life to fullest.

I say in faith, I am healed spiritually, physically and soulfully in Jesus’ name! (Psalm 107:20, John 10:10)

  • Lord, change me so that I don’t become a nagging wife (because of worries) to my husband but to be polite in guiding him. Make me a calm and grounded wife who trusts her husband out of love. (Proverbs 21:9, 1 Corinthians 13:7)

For your Husband

  • Lord, I pray that all the problems that is stressing my husband will be solved for your glory.
  • Lord, I pronounce peace over my husband. Let all the worries that he is not sharing with anyone and all that is creating a bottleneck in his mind be broken in the Name of Jesus.
  • Lord, I pray for wisdom, patience and steady mind to make right decisions. Stop my husband from making wrong decisions due to worries. Lead him to be calm and pray before making vital decisions.
  • Lord, Give my husband the grace to comfort me and bring me back to senses when I’m worrying too much. (2 Corinthians 1:3)
  • Lord, grant my husband the patience to listen to my worries when I share my burden and understand the problem correctly and take actions after submitting the situation to you.(Gal 6:2, James 1:19)

Today’s Promise:

No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame. Psalm 25:1

Today’s Command:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

30 days of Praying for you and your husband! Day 1

Dear Women in Christ!
God, the third strand in the three stranded knot of marriage, who tied you and your husband into this lovely covenant, has a great deal of involvement in your marriage. As we all know we are here to fight for the marriage and not to fight with our married partner! And we know that we fight on our knees!
Most of the times we are repeatedly praying for everyday issues. We shouldn’t stop that but there is so much more!
Sometimes we don’t pray at all for our marriage. We wait for something to go wrong to turn our hearts to the Lord. And few of us don’t pray as we don’t know where to start. To know what to pray for we should know what’s God’s plan for marriage. We are going to pray in faith according to God’s plan for our married lives. We are going to pray for ourselves and our husbands!

Day 1

Pray for unity

For you:

  • Lord help us to work towards one goal. If there is any division in our goals please help us come to wise decisions using healthy discussions.
  • Lord touch my tongue so that it speaks polite words that quenches arguments and promotes peace.
  • Lord help me prioritize winning the relationship rather than winning the argument. Let me consider failure in an argument as success in my marriage journey.
  • Lord, help me to use the words – ‘Sorry’, ‘Please’ and ‘Thanks’ whenever it is crucial.
  • Lord I pronounce peace over all the stormy situations of my life. I rebuke all the lies and spirit of division that is working against our marriage.

For your husband:

  • Lord, I pronounce Godly peace over my husband and every territory that my husband enters into.
  • Lord, I pray that my husband’s ears will be guarded by you. May only Godly counsel penetrate through his ears and May the ungodly counsel be rejected using spiritual discernment.
  • Lord, I pray that my husband will focus on the unity of the family and repel every strategy fashioned to break the unity.
  • Lord, I pray that my husband should not grow weary in working towards unity.  I pronounce strength over my husband when he grows weary.
  • Lord, I pray that my husband should be a wise decision maker in making sure the family’s unity is strong.

Amen!

Today’s Promise:

LORD, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you.
Isaiah 26:12

Today’s Command:

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone. Hebrew 12: 14
